Questions We Get a Lot
A full 1-inch slate surface is the standard used in professional and tournament play — it provides a flatter, more consistent playing field that holds level over time better than thinner alternatives. If you plan to play seriously or host competitive games, 1-inch slate is the build quality to look for. All of our tournament-grade tables feature this spec.
The standard rule is to leave at least 5 feet of clearance on all sides of the table to allow a full cue stroke without hitting a wall. An 88x44-inch regulation table needs a room roughly 17x13 feet minimum, while an 84-inch table works in slightly tighter spaces. Measure your room before you order and factor in furniture placement around the table.
Pool tables ship broken down into manageable components and are assembled by the customer using the included hardware and instructions. Slate tables require leveling during setup — a process you complete yourself using the leveling hardware provided with the table. Take your time during assembly and the playing surface will be rock-solid.
We offer 30-Day Returns on our pool tables — please review our Return Policy for full details on eligibility and the return process. We recommend confirming your room dimensions against the table specs before ordering so your setup goes smoothly from day one. Reach out to our team if you have questions before you buy.
About Our Pool Tables
A pool table is one of the few pieces of game room furniture that earns its place every single time someone walks into the room. Built around a slate playing surface, solid wood rails, and a tightly woven cloth bed, a quality table delivers a consistent, predictable roll that cheap alternatives simply cannot match. The slate holds flat across decades of play, the rails return the ball with the same energy every time, and the cloth keeps the cue ball tracking exactly where you sent it. Pool tables are built for households that want a genuine game room experience — not a toy version of one. The right table turns a basement, bonus room, or dedicated rec space into somewhere people actually gather. When choosing one, focus on slate thickness, rail construction, cloth blend, and overall table dimensions relative to your room. Those four factors determine how the table plays and how long it holds up. A table built to these standards is a long-term investment in how your home is used.
